This is a very handy note-taking pencil with an HB core in one half and a bright yellow highlighter in the other. The HB core is a dark line with great point retention. The yellow dry highlighter core is rather soft, but creates an extremely vibrant line. Very handy for marking, note taking, or writing and checking off lists.
Established in Geneva in 1915, Caran d’Ache is a privately owned family company, making pencils to the high Swiss standard. Considered somewhat of a luxury brand, they are known for creating the first water-soluble pencils and inventing the clutch pencil.
