Tombow Vintage Mono 50 Pink HB

The vintage Japanese made Tombow Mono 50 pencil is a beautiful cream colour with pink end cap and gold embossing.  The pencil itself is branded simply as ‘Mono’.  It is intended for ‘hi-precision drafting’, features the ‘Japan International Standards’ (JIS) mark and does not have a barcode printed on the pencil.  There is some variation in the cream colour between these pencils and some have marks on the end-cap due to their age.

Tombow Pencil Co. was founded in 1913 in Japan. Tombow means ‘dragonfly’ in Japanese, as featured on their logo. Tombow no longer manufacture most lines of their pencil products in Japan, however maintain a very high level of quality.
