The Kitaboshi 9900 Art Set includes 12 premium pencils graded from 6B-4H. The pencils are a very simple natural design intended for ‘special drawing’ and come packaged in a hinged black tin. Kitaboshi pencils are known for their high quality, smooth artist-grade graphite.
Founded in 1913 and located in Katsushika, Japan, Kitaboshi is a small family-owned pencil company. The founder of Kitaboshi is famously quoted to have said “A pencil sacrifices itself to serve people. Both humans and pencils need cores.”
