Caran d’Ache – Les Crayons de la Maison: 6th Edition

The Exotic Pencils of Caran d’Ache #6. These beautiful pencils are made with wood reconstituted from Poplar and Abachi, selected to meet strict quality criteria.  All 4 pencils are HB and manufactured from 100% natural products.  The featured wood varieties in the 6th Edition are Western Hemlock, White Oak, Silver Teak & White Ash.  These pencils are scented in partnership with the Genevan Maison Mizensir, specialist in candles and ambient fragrances. Caran d’Ache has selected the perfume Bois du Tibet, which reveals notes and essences of patchouli, incense and tonka bean.

Established in Geneva in 1915, Caran d’Ache is a privately owned family company, making pencils to the high Swiss standard. Considered somewhat of a luxury brand, they are known for creating the first water-soluble pencils and inventing the clutch pencil.
